Searching for a business?

Searching for a business is completely FREE. To find a business, simply type in either the business name, if you know it, or category or type of business in the block provided on the Home page, or select a category of business from the scroll down list; then press enter or click on the "Go" button.

 

Booking an appointment, restaurant table or guest/hotel room etc?

This is also completely FREE, unless the business or hotel requires a deposit for your booking, in which case you will be required to pay the deposit using our secure online payment system by either credit card or electronic debit.

Only businesses who have registered for the Online Book Now! system will have the Book Now! logo displayed alongside their name on a search listing and you may Book Now! only with these businesses.

To Book Now!, simply click on the Book Now! logo alongside the relevant business listing once you have found the business you are looking for. This will take you through a short routine which accepts your booking. The Book Now! registered businesses have a booking calendar at their computer and your booking will show up live online. If for any reason they are offline, or if they have also selected this option for online bookings, an sms / text message confirming the booking will be sent to them.

 

Want to List your business on our website?

Listing a business on our website is completelyFREE. To list a business, click on the List Free button on the Book Now! home page. This calls up a screen which allows you to put your business details into our system. You will be asked for your email address and to create a password. To activate your account you will be sent an email to verify it. The listing will immediately be visible to anyone searching for your or your type of business.

An additional two listing accounts - Premium Listing and Premium Plus Listing - are also available with enhanced features for an annual premium payment.

 

Registering for the SAInfo now! service?

When you list your business on the Book Now! website, you will be asked if you also want to register for the Book Now! service. Registration and using the system is free, but you will be asked to pay a nominal fee should you receive a booking through our website.

This additional service is only suitable for the types of businesses who do take customer or patient bookings, such as:

  • Restaurant table bookings

  • Doctor's appointments

  • Guesthouse or Hotel room bookings

  • Call-out Service bookings - electrician, plumber, TV technician etc

  • Car or in-house Service bookings

  • Lawyer's consultations

  • Dentist appointments

  • Optometrist consultations

  • Specialist appointments

  • Tour bookings

  • Ticket purchases

    RESOURCES

    When registering you will be able to specify whether your bookings are time-based eg half-hour doctor’s appointments, or are resource based eg guestrooms and you will be able to specify tariff’s or a deposit for the booking, or if no immediate payment is required eg restaurant table bookings.

     

    BOOKING CALENDAR

    An online booking calendar will be set up as well as a guest/customer/patient data base and customers will be able to book an appointment, consultation, service call-out etc by clicking on the Book Now! button on your listing on our website. You will be able to access this calendar, print it out and keep it live in your premises. You will also be able to book off appointments that are made with you directly by telephone or in person. There is no charge for these, only bookings that come off the website. If you are not online, an sms / text message will be sent to you when a customer books online and you will be able to update a printout of your calendar until you go back online.

    HOW MUCH WOULD I EXPECT TO PAY?

    For bookings made directly with you in the way that you always used to receive bookings, there is no charge. You simply make the booking for the customer on your online calendar and this is free.. as many as you like!

    If a customer finds your service or guesthouse online and makes his own booking, a charge will be generated. Once the customer or patient has seen you and may need a further appointment or consultation, you may make this further booking free. In most cases therefore, it will be a once-off charge or a finders fee for us helping the customer find you on our online data-base. This is similar to an advertising charge, but is only levied when you actually get a booking. Other adverts you may pay for on a monthly or annual basis and never get a booking.

     

    Our charge is R15,50 per booking or 3.5% of the booking value*, whichever is the greater, together with the annual Premium or Premium Plus subscription of R350 or R525 (plis VAT) depending on which benefit you prefer. Wow!! It's really cheap, so easy and every booking online is a bonus... a booking you may never have had. Booking charges are consolidated monthly or quarterly and an account rendered.     * Plus VAT and subject to annual review. If a credit card or paypal account is used, the usual charges of the finance institution will also apply.

There is no monthly subscription, you will have all of the benefits of a Premium Listing and you will only pay per booking actually received online. *
